About Our Farm
Highland Beef
Our Highland cattle are raised here on pasture and in the forest, where they have room to roam, browse, and grow at their own pace. They are supplemented with quality alfalfa and are never grain-finished. Highlands are an old heritage breed, loved for their hardiness, slower growth, lean beef, and naturally rich flavor.
We raise our cattle with patience, care, and respect for the animal. The result is Highland beef that is full of flavor, tender, and connected to the way it was raised. You can shop our beef online or stop by the farm stand to see what cuts we have available.
Our Farm Stand
COMING SOON! Stop by our farm stand at 28068 Hamm Road, open 7 days a week from 9 AM to 8 PM. We run on the honor system, and what you find will change with the seasons.
While you’re here, say hi to Hoot and Annie, our funny and delightful emus, and see who is out in the pasture. We rotate the field with alpacas and young Highlands, so there is always something sweet to see when you visit.
You can also find us soon at the Veneta Farmers Market on Saturdays. Be sure to stop by, meet our dad, Robin, and say hello.
Farm Stand Offerings
Our farm stand offerings rotate with the seasons and with what we are growing, baking, gathering, and making here on the farm. Each visit may look a little different depending on what is ready and what has been stocked.
You may find Highland beef, pasture eggs, duck eggs, quail eggs, jam, salsa, sourdough, baked goods, dog treats, tallow lotion, tallow soap, tomatoes, seasonal produce, and other pantry goods.
We also feature local products from nearby farms and small makers when available, including mushrooms, honey, and other small-batch goods
