Highland cattle have been around since the sixth century, making them one of the oldest heritage breeds. On our small farm, they live quietly and naturally.

Our Highlands spend their days moving between open pasture and forest, browsing fruit trees and wild plants, drinking from natural water sources, and resting in the shade when they need it. The woods offer shelter in summer, protection in winter, and a calm place for them to wander. This mix of pasture and forest suits them well.

We do our best to care for the land and the animals together. The cattle live low-stress lives, and they’re given time and space to grow at their own pace.

That way of raising cattle results in beef that is naturally lean, full of flavor, and lower in fat and cholesterol than conventional beef. For us, this is simply about raising good animals, tending the land thoughtfully, and sharing food that comes from a place of care.
